As a former college athlete, Ive had years of weight room and exercise experience. A young body, an active lifestyle and hours of practices had kept me in shape during my formative years. Since college, Ive continued to lift weights and do cardio. However, this was never enough and I could never break through to the level of fitness that not only I desired, but that I believe I could achieve. I had the conditioning experience and the weight room knowledge, so I didnt know why I couldnt make the gains I had hoped for. After years of struggling to make significant gains, I knew I needed some help if I was going to get the results that I wanted. Thats when I turned to Tom and he showed what I had been missing. While I had the weight room and conditioning knowledge, I knew little about nutrition and how important it was and is to my overall level of fitness. I had no knowledge of how protein, carbs, and fats could effect not only my lifting and fitness level but all aspects of my life: stress, energy, piece of mind, health!!.... vital parts of everyones lifestyle; not just an athlete. Tom set me up with one of his custom nutrition programs and I quickly started to see a difference. The plan was easy. I put in some hard work up front by learning how to count calories, measure portions and record my meals and then my body just peeled away the pounds. I started the program at 19.6% body fat and 5 months later I was at 8.6%. The success has carried over into all aspects of my life. I have more energy, I sleep more soundly, I think more clearly and Im in a better mood (I think everyone is happy about that!). Yes it was difficult at first and it required some effort but it was a lifestyle change. Towards the end of program, I was counting calories in my mind and was able to eyeball portion size. It was no longer work or effort it just became part of the way I was. Since I started doing this naturally and am no longer trying to do it, its been easy to maintain. Ive never really been off the program but rather it became a lifestyle, a rather enjoyable one. Ive become an avid runner since moving to Tampa four years ago and one of my goals has always been to run a marathon. Well, this winter I am going to achieve this goal with the help of this program. Since cutting down all the body fat, I have shaved 14 minutes off my half marathon personal best and am now poised for the marathon this February. Nutritions impact on your mind and body is undeniable, whether that impact is positive or negative is up you. If you like looking good and feeling even better, then you need to re-consider your personal nutrition and Tom is the man that can help you with that.

Ive been looking forward to writing this testimonial for a long time. The first time I met Tom I told him that my goal was to have my own testimonial. Writing this symbolizes the end of the weight gain/loss cycle that has controlled my life over the last ten years. I gained and lost anywhere from 35 to 50 pounds at least 4 times during those years.

My before picture is the heaviest Ive ever been. When I look at that picture, it makes me sad to remember how uncomfortable and unhappy I was. That big slice of pizza definitely wasnt making me happy. I was self-conscious, insecure and generally miserable to be around. My weight took a toll on my self-image, my relationships with the people I care for, and my health.

I was determined to stop letting the way I looked dictate the way I lived my life so I started dieting and exercising. I once again lost almost 40 pounds on my own, but I had reached a plateau and was still not satisfied with my level of fitness. For the first time, I was ready to achieve the goals I failed to reach in all those prior attempts.

In July of 2002, I made my first appointment with Tom. I committed to weekly strength training and regular nutrition confessions. Strength training was completely new to me, but I found myself really enjoying the workout. I love strength training with Tom and I still look forward to our sessions each week.

In addition to the physical training, there was a lot of mental and emotional reconditioning. Tom was the one who finally convinced me to end my relationship with the scale. He showed me that the number on the scale isnt an indicator of how fit you are. He also taught me how critical nutrition is. Tom spent a lot of time refining numerous nutrition programs for me. Im so grateful for his creativity and perseverance in finding a program that works for me.

Today, my body fat is half of what it once was. Tom has helped me to loose the last 25 pounds I could never seem to get rid of on my own. He has supported me throughout the entire process. I have lost a total of 65 pounds and completely transformed my body both inside and out.

Im proud of what Ive accomplished and Im excited to set new goals for myself. I feel strong and healthy and Im not afraid to challenge myself anymore. I still work out 4-5 times a week and watch what I eat because it helps me live a life that I love. Thank you Tom for helping me to finally be able to write my own testimonial. I couldnt have done it without you.

Until recently, I was able to eat what I wanted without gaining weight simply because I went to the gym and exercised 3 or 4 times a week. This strategy for weight control worked for many years, but as I entered my late 30s I realized that my waist had grown to 36 and I weighed 204 lbs despite regular workouts at the gym. At 62 I didnt look particularly bad at 204 lbs but I was concerned that if I didnt change something I would soon find myself at 214 lbs, then 224 lbs, and so on.

I concluded that the best thing to do to get my weight under control was to change my diet and learn more about nutrition and healthy eating. I knew I needed a diet that was based on healthy eating and offered some variety. I did not want to participate in any weight loss groups but I wanted some guidance and someone knowledgeable to help me benchmark my progress. I saw an advertisement for Dellis Health and Performance at the gym and decided to give them a try.

During my initial consultation with Dellis Health and Performance, Tom Ellis completed a survey of my eating habits, including the foods that I like to eat. We discussed my weight loss and fitness goals and the various strategies available to help me attain my goals. My body measurements were taken and recorded to assist in charting my progress.

Several days after the initial consultation, Tom forwarded me a diet tailored to my eating habits and fitness goals. The diet was easy to follow and required me to eat 6 small meals instead of my usual 3 large meals each day. The portions of the meals in the diet were smaller than I was used to, but sufficient to hold me over until the next meal. A unique feature of the diet is being able to eat and drink what you want (in moderation) for an entire day each week in an attempt to keep your metabolism ramped up.

Like anything else worth achieving, the diet did require some changes in my lifestyle, and I had to take some extra time each morning to pack my meals for the day. However, I can honestly say I was never hungry or bored with the variety of foods included in the diet.

The Dellis diet combined with monthly consultations with Tom Ellis and several modifications to my workout routines recommended by Tom Ellis enabled my to drop 24 lbs and two inches off of my waist in about 12 weeks. I have been able to maintain my weight by following the maintenance diet customized for me by Dellis Health and Performance. I was able to achieve my fitness goals with assistance from Dellis Health and Performance and so can you.

In our world of negativity and compromise, those who achieve positive victories are simply called "uncommon men." Are you uncommon? Or are you like everyone else? I believe Abraham Lincoln said, "A weary body makes for a weary mind." How true! 12 weeks ago I was pretty weary. If you are like me you've tried everything to make yourself a better person. I found out that the buck stops at DELLIS. Just try it for 12 weeks. You have more to gain than you have to lose, much more to gain. It's like catapulting yourself into self-confidence. You find more of your own identity, your strengths that you never knew you had both physical and psychological. Have you ever sat and thought why people in the world act the way they do? What would it be like if everyone felt good about himself or herself? Wouldn't we treat each other differently? Most likely we would treat each other better. The Michael Jackson's song Man In the Mirror goes, "If you want to make the world a better place take a look at yourself and make a change." Take a real good look at yourself, are you the best that you can be? If not, DELLIS will help you be at your best. We were all taught if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. With DELLIS the reverse is true. So as of now forget everything you heard about supplements and weight training. Start from scratch. Don't wait for someone to do it for you because it's not gonna happen. The new you is waiting for you to take the steps. There is no such thing as a stupid question. I called Tom a million times on every detail of my diet, weight training and supplementation. The only thing holding you back is YOU. We all were a little afraid. That's OK, it's normal to be a little afraid. Change does that. But it is not possible for you to fail if you follow any one of the DELLIS programs. The only thing that can stop you is YOU. The key to success is in your hands; the car that takes you there is DELLIS, so get in and start driving.

Champions are not people who never fail, but people who never quit. Life is composed of our choices and constructed by our words. To change your life, change your choices and the use of your words. Don't use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved. You cannot correct what's wrong in your life by continuing to do the same things that caused the problems. You have to be willing to change. You have to have the courage to change. Change is the only constant in maturity. "God has not given us a spirit of fear: But of Power, and of Love, and of Sound mind."

I don't want to be known as a survivor, do you? I want to be an overcomer. There is more to life than just existing. Survivors exist. Overcomers live. It takes courage to go beyond survival and into life. Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, and Today is a gift: That's why we call it "The Present."

In 12 weeks I have lost 19 lbs. of body fat and gained 14 lbs. of muscle by using DELLIS supplements and committing to a workout program and changing what I ate. I don't want to use the word diet, it seems to come across as not eating. I CHANGED what I ate. You have heard the old saying, "You are what you eat." That is reality. If you put enough pork in your body you might become a pig, or at least look like one.

What do you want to be?

There is no disputing that this works; if you have the will, DELLIS has the way. This is fact. You need to break the old habits and get out of the old comfort zone. A body in motion tends to stay in motion, a body at rest tends to stay at rest. Put your body in motion. This is a life style change, a permanent change. I am a completely different person today, a better, stronger person, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. A picture is worth a thousand words. Look at my pictures. I was at 20.5% body fat when I started and now I am at 10% body fat. Change isn't change until there is change. Remember dreams are the substance of every great achievement in life. The most powerful thing you can do in life is create an image. How is your image looking?

YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR ALTITUDE.

Sincerely,

Robert Sicignano

On June 19, 1997, I had the opportunity to meet Tom Ellis and be introduced to his fitness and nutrition plan. I had battled with my weight my entire life and needless to say I was "pleasantly plump" at that time. In just three weeks of being on Tom's plan, I had lost a total of twelve pounds and eight inches off of different places on my body. Today, I look and feel better than I have ever felt before.

My physical appearance was not all that benefited. My self-esteem rose, I gained confidence, and my attitude improved because I felt so good about myself. Words cannot begin to describe how grateful I am to Tom and how thankful I am to have met him. He showed me a new way of life, helped me whenever I needed him, and made me a better person.

Thanks, Tom!

Love,

Kristin Kirk

Tom,

I just wanted to take a few moments to express my sincere gratitude to you for providing me with the tools necessary to achieve my goals. For several months prior to my consultation with you I had been training regularly and following what I thought was a healthy "diet." Unfortunately, this yielded minimal results. But the nutrition program you developed for me left no guesswork -- all the information I could possibly need was there in black and white. All I had to do is follow it.

I was thrilled with the results! I followed the program diligently and trained just as I had before. I found that my energy level remained consistently high each day, my food cravings diminished and my mood swings ceased. Best of all, after just 12 weeks, I experienced more significant fat loss and muscle gain than I had in several months prior! Not only did I achieve my goals, I surpassed them!

Thank you for finding my missing link!

"yours in good health..."

Judi
